Cialis and the problems of poor self-confidence

As a teen, life is usually quite simple. You see a girl or woman, find her attractive and you feel an erection. It’s an immediate reaction and confirms your general sense that all is well with the world. But a combination of circumstances can slowly change that easy and natural reaction to attractive women. The reality of dating and sexual experiences can undermine self-confidence. Then there are all the other factors. Yes, here come the usual suspects.

Most young men manage to stay reasonably fit and active but, as you move into your twenties and early thirties, diet grows unhealthy as exercise declines. Now add in too many nights of excessive alcohol consumption, a refusal to quit smoking, and stress at work (or now, stress at not being able to find or keep work) and the seeds of erectile dysfunction are being sowed. Many who offer counseling are reporting an increasing number of younger men with sexual problems. The problem, however, is that once you lose the confidence, it’s very difficult to get it back. It’s that same old voice in the back of your head. You failed the last time so why will it go right tonight? Negativity is more often proved right.

This builds frustration. In your head, you still find women attractive and, in private, the erection is there. But when you’re out on a date and the decision you’re deciding whether to “go further”, anxiety builds. You’re looking for a sign from her but, in the modern date, it’s for men to make the running. You have to ask the question and run the risk of rejection. So the natural reaction is for even young men to reach for the cialis. It doesn’t matter whether this is the as-needed or the once-daily version, it’s just something to boost confidence (remember Dutch courage is often part of the problem in attracting women or persuading them into bed). Fortunately, assuming no physical injuries or actual depression, cialis is very reliable and will restore that self-confidence to teen levels.
